Aku pengguna Astro pakej mini + Sport = RM90, dan Streamyx 1.0 mbps = RM88. Tambah dua2 ni lebih kurang RM170 sebulan kena bayar, itupun kalau adik aku tak gatal tangan order Astro First. Bila keluar produk Astro Byond HD, teringin nak upgrade astro sebab HDTV dah ada. Tapi aku lepak dulu sebab HD channel ada 5 je masa tu. Pastu keluar AstroByond PVR, yg boleh record pause and play, makin menarik sebab kita boleh record channel yg kita nak, pastu boleh tengok hari lain, pastu boleh pause2 lagi kalau nak pg toilet ke, nak solat ke.. Best2, tapi aku pikir2, nanti dulu lah.. Masa ni, HD channel dah bertambah sikit2.. Pastu ternampak produk baru TM, iaitu Unifi. Paling murah RM145 untuk telefon + internet 5mbps + cabel TV, Eh?? Cable TV?? Kat Malaysia ni, cable TV yg ada Astro je, skrg Telekom pun nak buat jugak. Menarik ni. Sebelum ni aku bayar RM170 untuk Internet + Astro, skrg ni boleh jimat sampai RM145 je kalau guna UNIFI. Aku terus berhajat nak buang Astro, ganti UNIFI je lah. Tetiba Cable TV Unifi ni namanyer HyppTV, takde LIVE English Premier League. Sedangkan sebab utama aku langgan Astro ialah nak tgok bola LIVE, tu je. Aku dalam dilema, amik Unifi, xdapat tgok bola LIVE. So sekali lagi aku pikir, nanti2 lah, biar dulu yg ade skrg ni. Dan baru2 ni, keluar lagi berita hangat, Astro buat produk baru, AstroByond IPTV. Hahahaa.. inilah topik sebenar aku nak citer dalam blog malam ni, Kisah Astro IPTV. Astro IPTV ni kalau you all tak paham package dia, samalah dengan TM Unifi. Nak pendek cerita la kan, package paling murah TM Unifi = RM145 (Phone + Broadband 5mbps + CableTV), AstroBeyond IPTV = RM148 (Phone + Broadband 6mbps + CableTV). Kan lebih kurang je harganyer, tapi more values la bagi aku kalau guna Astro sebab ada bola LIVE. Yeaahhhh... confirm 100% aku rasa nak keluar pg TM branch aku nak terminate Streamyx terus.. Hahahaa.. Aku pun semangat la browse internet nak cari detail produk Astro yg Hangat nih, tiba2.... sekali lagi aku dikecewakan.. AstroByond IPTV hanya ditawarkan kepada kondominium sahaja buat masa ini. WTH???????????????? aku search senarai kondo, skrg ni baru apply kat Mont Kiara.. So shitttttttttt... kena tunggu tahun depan la nak merasa Astro IPTV.. huhuuuu... sedihnya..
Just want to share my experience with Astro IPTV/Maxis fiber so that it will not happen to others..
ReplyDeleteIn my home area all fiber infrastructure belongs to TM, up to the BTU box dalam rumah customer. When we change to IPTV, Maxis will be using the same BTU box for their channel. Once you moved to IPTV, your Astro decoder no longer accept signal from dish, it will come from fiber.
Imagine if the TM BTU box rosak, who do you want to call? Kalau you call TM, diaorg akan cakap you are not their customer and they are not responsible to change the device. Kalau you call Astro, diaorg akan cakap BTU box tu belongs to TM and the cannot replace it for you. What they will do is to log a request to TM to come to your house and swap the device. Then boleh agak sendiri la macamana response time dari TM since we are not their client..
That is what happen to me.. from saturday last week until today TM tak come back to Astro yet on the date (only date, bukan utk datang tukar device) when they are available to come.
I am now literally fighting back with Astro to convert my decoder back to dish.. so still menunggu sampai bila Astro boleh solve my issue..
